Hey Kay! You can substitute the protein powder with peanut butter powder. Enjoy!

What could you substitute for the protein powder?

Hey Elizabeth, great question – it will depend on the type of protein powder you use and the amount of protein in it – as generally (though it will depend on the individual child’s weight and height) children ages 4 to 18 require 0.45 to 0.95 grams of protein per day, and the use of protein powder should not exceed this amount, so just be sure to measure their overall intake before giving them these and deciding how many to give them.

Are these protein balls ok to share with kids 4-9 in age since they have protein powder?
